Not a catalogue — this is what actually goes into the packages we build, pulled from the vessels on our fleet page.

P4 Autopilot

5.7" colour TFT head · IST auto-learning · NMEA 2000 / 0183
ComNav P4 Autopilot control head with colour TFT display and modular multi-station control panels

ComNav's flagship pilot. Intelligent Steering Technology learns the boat and trims itself for speed, sea state and load, with Auto-Setup handling drive detection, rudder response and compass calibration. Sunlight-viewable colour display with red night mode, port and starboard dodge buttons, and multi-station control with a security lock.

P2 / P2VS Autopilot

P2 · P2VS
ComNav P2 / P2VS Autopilot control head

The workhorse Commander pilot for boats roughly 22 to 50 feet. Work Mode gives hard rudder response for tight handling, Proportional Rate Control smooths things out at cruising speed, and NAV mode tracks a route off the plotter. The P2VS adds Automatic Leeway Control so the boat holds a no-drift course.

Bridge system installed by Hines Marine Services featuring ComNav equipment

Steering built for working boats.

ComNav's vector steering and adaptive software cut helm hunting on long tows, which means less fuel burned and less wear on the drive. We spec the pump and feedback to the boat, not out of a catalogue.

  • Autopilots for lobster boats up to 60-foot draggers
  • Custom drive solutions for hydraulic and mechanical steering
  • Heading sensors and satellite compasses
